Anderson Magazine: $10,000 Grant Supports Summer Hunger Relief in Anderson County

Anderson Magazine recently highlighted a $10,000 grant from the Dunkin’ Joy in Childhood Foundation to Anderson Interfaith Ministries (AIM) to help combat hunger in Anderson County, South Carolina.

The grant will support AIM’s “Summer 4 Kids Program,” which distributes bags of food and books to children at more than 18 sites across the county each Friday throughout the summer. The program helps ensure that local youth have access to nutritious meals and educational resources while school is out.

This funding is part of the Foundation’s largest nationwide distribution to date, totaling $6.5 million in 2025 through its Community Impact Grant program. Support for the Foundation is made possible by Dunkin’ franchisees, employees, vendor partners, and guests, including through initiatives like Dunkin’ Iced Coffee Day and the annual “Give Joy” fundraiser.

Since 2006, the Joy in Childhood Foundation has granted more than $70 million to national and local nonprofits dedicated to bringing joy to children battling hunger or illness.
