CNY News Reports $1.6M in Grants Supporting Kids in New York

CNY News recently reported that the Dunkin’ Joy in Childhood Foundation awarded more than $1.6 million in 2025 to support children facing illness and food insecurity across the New York metro region, including the Hudson Valley.

The funding benefited 68 nonprofit organizations and supported hunger relief programs, hospital-based initiatives, summer camps for children with cancer, education scholarships, and community health partnerships. More than 23,000 meals were also donated through Long Island Cares to help ensure consistent access to nutritious food.

The Foundation’s four Signature Programs — Dunkin’ Joyful Spaces, Dunkin’ Prom, Connecting Joy, and Dogs for Joy — continue to deliver impact in hospitals and community centers throughout the region, with active involvement from local Dunkin’ franchisees.

Since 2006, the Joy in Childhood Foundation has granted more than $70 million nationwide to help bring joy to kids battling hunger or illness.
