Stratford Dunkin Grand Reopening Includes $3,000 Donation

Patch recently covered the grand reopening of a remodeled “next generation” Dunkin’ restaurant in Stratford, Connecticut, an event that paired celebration with community impact.

The newly updated location introduced Dunkin’s modern store design, digital kiosks, premium tap system for cold beverages, and dedicated mobile pickup area. The reopening event included giveaways, a ribbon cutting ceremony, and a “Free Coffee for a Year” promotion for the first 50 guests in line.

As part of the celebration, Dunkin’ Franchisee G & A Donut Corp. made a $3,000 donation to the Bridgeport Rescue Mission in conjunction with the Dunkin’ Joy in Childhood Foundation. The Bridgeport Rescue Mission provides food, shelter, and addiction recovery services to individuals and families in need across Connecticut.

Moments like these reflect how Dunkin’ franchisees continue to strengthen local communities while supporting the Foundation’s broader mission to bring joy to children facing hunger or illness.
